Comunity personalism of Emmanuel Mounier: General topics and principal assumptions
Main Article Content
Abstract
This research delves into fundamental aspects of Emmanuel Mounier's philosophical thought, with the aim of clarifying some misconceptions in the study of this topic. It begins with a conceptual clarification of the terms "personalist philosophical tradition," "personalist philosophy," and "communitarian personalism." It then develops a deeper understanding of two key characteristics of his philosophical proposal that are intimately linked, namely, the refusal to be limited to a philosophical system and the situational nature of his philosophical reflection. Subsequently, his anthropological, communitarian, and axiological presuppositions are analyzed, culminating in the elucidation of some conclusions on the subject.
