El presente artículo busca realizar, desde una mirada educativa y pedagógica, una interpretación a la comprensión teológica de Paulo Freire. Se indagará en torno a algunas temáticas recurrentes en sus principales obras, como los conceptos de profecía, Pascua y el lugar que el pedagogo brasileño le otorga a las virtudes teologales. Freire presenta estos conceptos porque él posee una experiencia de fe cristiana que la va plasmando de manera transversal en la pedagogía liberadora que propone como camino de realización humana a nivel de lo comunitario.
