An approach to Xavier Zubiri's anthropology

Abstract
This work adopts Xavier Zubiri's anthropological perspective, which has outlined a metaphysics of worldly reality, assigning a central role to the human person. Therefore, reality demands a response from the person, a vital action. The subject has been affected, which implies a "tension towards an adequate response". Life in society involves the person finding themselves. This allows the human being to self-possess, from everyday behavior. The human being is open from their own interiority to themselves and to things. What is intended is to show the importance of personal actions in the course of history. According to Ellacuría, society and history are the natural places for the realization of the human individual. The above makes it possible for the person to remain open to transcendence.
