The Aesthetic Dimension of Labor in Simone Weil from the Perspective of Her Political Thought

Abstract
The article examines Simone Weil’s aesthetic thought based on the relationship between her political philosophy and her anthropological notions of labor. It analyzes the concepts of beauty, attention, and power formulated by the philosopher, which allows establishing a connection with the structure of oppression present in the historical context, a condition imposed on the working-class laborer. It is concluded that an aesthetic interpretation can be found within political philosophy concerning.
