El aspecto bíblico y pastoral del envío y el apostolado ha sido asignado de manera pre-ferente a los ministerios ordenados y los de la vida religiosa. En el presente estudio se busca fundamentar la identidad del bautizado, laico, ordenado o religioso, a partir del sentido bíblico de la categoría ‘apóstol’ y su derivado ‘apostolado’, sus raíces lexicales en el Antiguo y en el Nuevo Testamento e implicaciones, algunos textos significativos del envío y las implicaciones para la praxis bautismal.
El procedimiento metodológico se apoya en el estudio literario contextual, desde el significado lexical y sus contextos literarios, de ahí las implicaciones bíblico-teológi-cas y las apropiaciones para la praxis bautismal.
