Abstract

Catholic universities in the formulation of educational projects require combining, as much the Catholic Christian identity, as the opening up to the society we live in and whose culture talks. From this starting point, the current essay proposes five challenges
through which Catholic Diversities serve  society: Offering information of quality; Urging the search for the truth; Securing a dialogue between faith and reason, faith and science; Educating citizens and Christian critics; finally, being an instrument of evangelization in the university environment.
