To live from the heart. An approach to the Cistercian spirituality as a contribution to thought the philosophy of the Catholic University

Abstract
Whereas the need for a review of the role of philosophy in the humanistic and professional education of the Catholic University, this article proposes an approach to philosophy as a way of life or spiritual practice, as it was developed in antiquity and continued with significant changes with the advent of Christianity, specifically from the Cistercian spirituality and its current issues around the contemplative life from the heart human. In this way, is intended to give an account of a philosophical way of life that offers valuable elements for the reconsideration of the question about the meaning of philosophical education at the University, surpassing the identification of philosophy as an intellectual exercise.
