Étienne Bimbenet's phenomenological anthropology: life and sociality

Abstract
From a contextualization of his thought that places him beyond Darwinism and Blumenberg's phenomenological anthropology, we return to the fundamental concepts of Bimbenet's philosophical project. This consists of an anthropology elaborated on a phenomenology of life that presents the human being as capable of opening up to the real as opposed to the animal that remains enclosed in its vital interests. To critically examine his anthropo-phenomenology, we raise two questions concerning the themes of life and sociality.
