Tras cinco años de la promulgación del Documento de Aparecida, el obispo y teólogo Monseñor Pedro Ossandón resalta que Aparecida constituyó un nuevo pentecostés para la Iglesia que peregrina en América Latina y el Caribe. Asumiendo lo mejor de su tradición y mirando al futuro, el autor destaca la misión profética de la Iglesia y el discipulado que se nutre del encuentro con Jesucristo y de la participación en la vida Trinitaria.
