Dieser Artikel, das Ergebnis einer Reihe von Konferenzen, die an verschiedenen Orten in Deutschland angeboten wurden, präsentiert eine persönliche und neuartige Vision des berühmten biblischen Textes von Gn 2, 18-25. Indem jeder seiner Verse im Detail analysiert wird, wird versucht, die ultimative Absicht des Hagiographen zu erreichen, den tiefsten Grund, den der heilige Schreiber uns vermitteln wollte. Dank einer sorgfältigen Analyse des Originaltextes kommt man zu dem Schluss, dass diese biblische Geschichte Gottes Antwort auf die Teilnahme des Menschen am Schöpfungsprozess ist: Gott erschafft den Menschen durch den Menschen.
