LA DIVERSIDAD RELIGIOSA COMO PROBLEMA TEOLÓGICO EN AMÉRICA LATINA. RELACIÓN ENTRE LA TEOLOGÍA DE LA LIBERACIÓN Y LA RELIGIOSIDAD POPULAR

El actual debate que se da en América Latina y el Caribe sobre la diversidad religiosa tiene un capítulo importante y su antecedente, en la relación que ha tenido la teología de la liberación con la religiosidad popular. Este artículo muestra la relación entre ambas, sobre todo en su primera época, centrándose en la evolución del pensamiento de la teología de la liberación al respecto. En esa relación se forjaron unas categorías teológicas que, a nuestro juicio, permiten que hoy la diversidad religiosa sea un pro-blema no sólo abordado por las ciencias sociales, sino también por la teología.
