El estudio y análisis del Nuevo Testamento en el plano de la política y de la configura-ción del aparato estatal, conduce a la consideración cristiana de la necesidad de una autoridad política que ordene la sociedad hacia el bien común, establezca los derechos y deberes de los ciudadanos, etc., y todo ello, de acuerdo al orden moral y a la ley es-crita, pudiéndose llegar, en casos extremos, a la desobediencia civil.
