“TEOLOGÍA DEL PUEBLO”: ¿TEOLOGÍA O IDEOLOGÍA?

El contenido del presente artículo se refiere a la denominada “teología del pueblo”. En este sentido, se propone esclarecer tres puntos fundamentales: a) la naturaleza de la “teología del pueblo” (punto de partida y categoría fundamental que maneja -pueblo-); b) la filosofía, más allá del marxismo y de la hermenéutica, que funciona como presupuesto: el romanticismo; c) la incompatibilidad de esta teología (en rea-lidad, ideología) con la fe común de la Iglesia católica. Para Scannone, la “teología del pueblo” no tiene como finalidad la búsqueda de la verdad: su propósito es ser un instrumento teórico al servicio de la causa de los pobres.
