SAN MIGUEL ARCÁNGEL EN LOS COMENTARIOS DE CORNELIO A LAPIDE

En este trabajo se presenta un estudio teológico del arcángel San Miguel partiendo principalmente de la obra del jesuita flamenco Cornelio A. Lapide (1567-1637). El análisis se expone según el orden en que el arcángel es mencionado en las Sagradas Escrituras, iniciando por la profecía de Daniel, pasando por la epístola de Judas Tadeo, hasta llegar a sus menciones en el Apocalipsis. También se revisa la presencia de San Miguel en la historia del culto y la liturgia católica, y su significado histórico. Este artículo puede ser tomado como una introducción a la teología y exégesis bíblica clásicas del arcángel San Miguel.
