Throughout history, religions in general have been accused of being that generate violence and now must bear the burden of being identified as allies of those in power, a fact that makes them complicit in environmental degradation. However, within each one of them where you can collect the wealth of historical tradition, which can be put into critical dialogue with ecology, with the aim of broadening and deepening the understanding of the complex and ecological crisis from the symbolic dimensions, concepts and practices of their unique and holistic vision of the world. Therefore, the author’s claim is not to describe exhaustively addressed religion, but to identify how they conceive of the triad God, man and world, in order to facilitate dialogue with ecology.
