In the name of God and in the name of religions many atrocious crimes have been perpetrated against humanity. God has been, in many cases, the object of contradic-tions and exclusions of both men and women. Having religions as an excuse and as a way to advocate for them, Christians and members of other churches have promoted war, torture, incarceration, and also death. A dialogue among religions must aim at the true value of human beings. The basic postulates of reflection on human values must be based necessarily in terms of what makes human beings more human. From the Christian perspective, Jesus of Nazareth is shown as a model of humanity and of humanization accessible to any person that projects his/her life towards peace.
