The following pages bring some elements on the basis of the Song of Songs’ jewish interpretation which reads the loving poems with the key of spousal alliance between YHWH and Israel. To fulfill this task the examples will be taken from two rabbinic commentaries which have been very relevant in the Song of Songs’ jewish exegetical history. These are: Song of Songs Rabbah and the Rashi’s Commentary on the Song of Songs.
