Abstract

How to speak of the Kingdom of God in our ecclesial, social and cultural present, plagued by multiple pandemics? In confusing situations like those of us who live in this still young 21st century, it becomes imperative to recover the apocalyptic hope to give meaning to the lives and struggles of our peoples, who stubbornly continue to believe that the Lord of life is above the gods of death. This article seeks to recover the message of Jesus to reread our history, the Word of God and the mission of the Church, as a requirement that we cannot avoid. Only from the message proclaimed and witnessed by Jesus can we give a new message in ardor, content and expressions, which serves to feed the expectation, until the fullness of the Kingdom of God.
