Abstract

The view about the human being, man-women, about his meaning and existence will be with us forever. Asking about what makes us really humans, from our real context in Latin America, implies for theology to start considering the human being, his very reality, to see here and now what makes the life possible. So our theological effort, heir to the tradition, must begin with a method that makes us go back to the real context of our Latin America situation, where we articulate elements looking for new and inspiring results. To start from the very reality of inhumanity or anti-humanity, denial of the human condition due to the same daily reality lived in many places of our Latin America, let us to find there the presence of humanity and the standing of the human status as an alternative reality and an alterity dynamics emerging as a radical commitment from the Gospel.
