This article proposes a missiological reflection in the context of the 50th anniversary of the promulgation of the Conciliar Decree “Unitatis Redintegratio” on the intrinsic relationship between the evangelizing mission of the Church and the current requirements of ecumenical and interreligious dialogue. The missionary disciples are invited to live an authentic spirituality of dialogue as a necessary condition without which not possible in the current global context the credibility of our evangelization. The time of the mission of the Church today calls for a true and genuine conversion to ecumenism.
