Abstract

ocio/economic and techno/communicational phenomena have religious dimen-sions. Major problems arise, not from a use of artifacts nor due to consumption of the media, but rather through symbols of power. Concerning cyberculture and theology, good work is taking place. Are there genuine links between different ways of life? The Web touches the understanding of Christianity. Is there communion with God in solidarity with one´s neighbor? In terms of the Gospel, does the media today empower the downtrodden who struggle for life? These and other concerns deal with how theol-ogy is being reconstructed due to dialogue with technology and science, with people´s wisdom, with dreams and praxis of liberation.
