Francis of Asissi's meeting with the Sultan and his contribution to the mission and dialogue with the muslims

More than 800 years after the meeting of Saint Francis with the Sultan, the attitude of Francis to dialogue marks and constitutes an innovative but at the same time genuine desire to communicate and announce the Christian faith outside the radius explored until then. This article present the Francis’ meeting with the Sultan and his contribution to mission and dialogue with Muslims. For this, the context in which this initiatian ve was born by Saint Francis in the middle of Evo is exposed and later the conclusions and reflections carried out from the particular meeting between representatives of Christianity and Islam respectively.
