LA ESPIRITUALIDAD EN LA PRODUCCIÓN TEOLÓGICA DE GUSTAVO GUTIÉRREZ

Abstract

The spirituality subject in the theological production of Gustavo Gutiérrez as the back bone of his thought. The spirituality is based on an experience of an encounter with Jesus, which it is expressed in a lifestyle, a manner of being. The spirituality is the dynamism that invites and calls the Christians to live according to the Spirit and recognize Jesus as the source and the possibility to walk on by the Spirit action. Likewise, the spirituality is evidence by mean of a life in community, in solidarity and compromise especially with the poor people. In his masterpieces, Guitiérrez indicates two fundamental aspects of spirituality: the revelation, the saving fact, the grace, the gift and the divine initiative of encounter. On the other hand, the human process subjective of conversion, the action opening of God and the personal appropriation of a supportive and devotion life.
