Abstract

In this article, we provide a definition of the concept of “fundamentalism.” We’ve started doing a review of the origins of the concept and exposing the history of the term fundamentalism. On the other hand, we have carried out a review of the different definitions of the term that have been made. Then we’ve made a presentation of the different fields in which the term is applied. With all this, review of the concept, review of its different uses and applications and the fields where the term is used, we have built our own definition of the concept.
