The Revista de Filosofía UCSC conducts various processes to guarantee permanent accessibility to published archives. These include:

- Permanent backup copies of the server and files.
- Permanent updating of the software used.
- Metadata protocol.
- Use of DOIs.
- Availability of downloadable reading formats that allow for easy reproduction.

The Journal of Philosophy is part of the Public Knowledge Project's Private LOCKSS Network (PKP-PLN), which creates a fully decentralized system distributed among various collaborating libraries in order to create permanent archives of the journal and, through this, preserve the original contents and restore them if necessary.
