About the Journal
Biologia Pesquera is scientific journal that in the Latin American region has the purpose of results either from biological, fisheries, ecological, limnological, oceanographic or engineering research oriented to increase the scientific bases for the management and exploitation of exploitation of aquatic living resources. The journal will give priority to publish manuscripts related to, the Southeastern Pacific and Austral Ocean. Submission can be made in Spanish or English.

Biología Pesquera is a journal that aims to publish the results of biological, ecological, limnological, oceanographic, and engineering research focused on increasing the scientific knowledge for the management and utilization of living aquatic resources in the Latin American region. Preferably, works related to the Eastern South Pacific (Antarctica) will be published. The languages of publication are Spanish and English.
The editorial management of Fishery Biology is the responsibility of the Faculty of Sciences at the Universidad Católica de la Santísima Concepción (Concepción, Chile) starting from issue number 20 (December 1991).
