Reducing greenhouse gases is one of the commitments made by Chile in the Paris Agreement (2015), so port pollution is one of the issues to be resolved in order to comply with this international treaty. The present work intends to integrate green Hydrogen as fuel into the energy matrix of DP World Puerto Lirquén, considering for this: 1) substitute forklifts that use diesel for units with electric motorization, powered by Hydrogen batteries as fuel, 2) promote the use of green Hydrogen in tugboats that provide services in DP World Puerto Lirquén, through conversion of diesel engines to dual combustion, 3) ensure supply of green Hydrogen by installing an electrolysis plant to supply port equipment and 4) generate positive externalities in the population which would be reflected in education and training in clean energy concepts and the meaning of reducing greenhouse gases. For the above, four main aspects are developed: technical, economic, environmental, and social analysis, ending with a conclusion of the results of these analyses and their viability.
