The model of electrical supply in European Union

Abstract

The study analyzes the various activities that make up the electricity sector, according to the model proposed by the European Union: generation, transport, distribution and marketing. Likewise, it begins to position itself as a relevant actor in the electrical activity. All this, with the purpose of making proposals for the electricity sector in Chile to advance towards the so-called second stage of liberalization of the electricity industry.
