Abstract

In this paper, we have analyzed the historical-legal origin of consumer law, from the Classical Law to Common Law. We have tried to prove that ancient Rome had laws that protected buyers. We are going to analyze the laws of classic Roman law, postclassic and the Justinianeo Compilation. In addition, we will study the consumption in the Germanic Law and in the Royal Law of Castile. All this, will allow us to know the reminiscences of our current Law.
