Abstract

For the development and strengthening of industries,  the  way was left open to economic competition without limitation or regulation. During  the course of that “let do, let through”  period  in  which the liberal economy strengthened, the need to protect unfair competition emerged. This work makes a brief overview of the formation and evolution of protection against unfair competition in several European countries, shows the relationship that exists between Aquilian responsibility and the development of the discipline of unfair competition.
