Abstract

The purpose of this work is to make a general analysis of the Right to Social Protection from the point of view of the situation faced by migrants in Chile. The purpose of the foregoing is, on the one hand, to note that Chile urgently requires a public immigration policy that not only takes charge of regulating the entry and exit of foreign persons from the country, but also to inform themselves of the rights to which they can opt during their residence. Notwithstanding this, its implementation and regulation is
proposed, as well its application either directly or through the tools and basic principles recognized in our national law.
