ln this paper we cstablish thc experimental procédures to obtain triploidy in rainbow trout. together with the cytogenetics methods to demostrate succes in triploidy genome induction. The best results werc obtain by (hermaI shock ai 26.5“C. 20 min. from fértilization. The best success was cstimated as 79.09% of triploid embryos which show a 95% of survival ai “eyes stage". Metaphase piales from embryos al pre “eyes stage" can be considered thc best mcihod to ascertain ploidy diagnosis.
