Abstract

This paper was presentcd to the Symposium on Concholepas concholepas hcld at the Department of Oceanology, University of Chile, Valparaíso, on December 1977. It is a critical review of some aspects of the reproductive biology in this spccies, published up to the date of the Symposium. Most of the information deais primarily with gonalal stages, reproductive cycles, spawning, and larval development.
